Discover just who is playing who, and what our characters might look like (courtesy of the Wizard's Online PC Potraits series). These are written out-of-character.

Raven (Billy)

Raven is a Wood Elf fighter who joined our band whilst we were exploring the Isle of Dread. At the time of writing he is still alive and well, although his contact with Human "civilisation" has had a corrupting influence on his personality.

Dweazel (Chris)

Dweazel Moonunit was one of the original members of the party who first met in Parma. He was a Human druid/ranger, but did not last very long before ending up in the belly of a ferocious Tyrannosaurus Rex.

Ainsley (Chris)

Ainsley stumbled into a cave we were resting in one night whilst we were exploring the Isle of Dread. He was a Human druid but did not remain long with our little band as his love of nature was at complete odds with our appallingly mercenary attitude to life.

Festus (Chris)

Festus was a Human ranger/rogue whom we rescued along with some paladins of St.Cuthbert on the Isle of Dread. His love of grog and tattoos was legendary among the crew of our ship. He was caught while we were trying to break into a mansion belonging to the House Vladaam and was brutally killed by that evil family.

Elvis (Chris)

Elvis Lovechild III was destined not to be with our band for very long. A Human rogue, he joined us after he was able to steal an item we needed from House Vladaam. He joined when the bad guys were taking over the party and quickly fell foul of the others. When he threatened to reveal their activities to the church of St.Cuthbert, Haladi, Raven and Brian murdered Elvis.

Roscoe (Chris)

It was Haladi who introduced Roscoe to the group. Roscoe Tosscobble is a Halfling ranger/rogue and is a fellow worshipper of Grizit. After the death of Haladi, Roscoe saw the error of his ways and renounced his worship of Grizit. Before his ex-master had time to do anything about this Roscoe was killed by a Harpy whilst we were exploring the home plane of the Pactlords of the Quaan.

Quarion (Chris)

Quarion Nailo is a Human ranger/rogue/deepwood sniper who was captured by the Pactlords of the Quaan and taken to their home plane as a slave. He joined our band, along with Tanglebeard, after we rescued them from their evil captors. At the time of writing he is still sniping our enemies with deadly accuracy.

Pernicus (Dave)

One of the original members of the party who first met in Parma, Pernicus, a Human fighter, quickly established himself as a formidable and noble warrior, if sometimes reckless. It was a truly sad day when he died fighting a terrible creature in the docks of Parma (particularly as Dave was stuck in traffic and not controlling his character at the time!).

Haladi (Dave)

Finding fighters to join the group is easy in the many taverns of Parma, and it was thus that we met Haladi, another Human fighter. Taking him to Scuttle Cove proved to be a serious mistake as it was here that he was initiated into the worship of Grizit, and his increasinly evil presence started to dominate the group. After a botched attempt to steal a cart (of all things) left three City Guard dead, Haladi was hunted down by a huge detachment of City Guard and finally slain after a ferocious battle.

Peregrine (Dave)

Peregrine was recruited to the group after the death of Haladi and Hendell. He is a skilled Human ranger who quickly proved his value to the group as we tried to navigate the desolate and featureless wasteland of the home plane of the Pactlords of the Quaan. Unfortunately the Quaan home plane was to be Peregrine's final resting place as a finger of death ray from a Beholder put an end to his short adventurering career.

Tanglebeard (Dave)

The third Dwarven fighter to join our band (although this one is part barbarian!), Tanglebeard had been captured by the Pactlords of the Quaan and taken to their home plane as a slave. He was rescued by us along with Quarion and opted to join our band. At the time of writing he is still charging our foes with reckless abandon.

Sinead (Paul D)

Author of the journal and one of the original members of the party, Sinead O'Dynne is a Human bard. She still sings, and although mercenary and sometimes callous, she remained the sole member of the party to resist the lure of evil and the subsequent shift to good that occurred after the death of Haladi.

Cruath (Paul L)

Cruath was a vaguely Human shaman who joined us after we encountered the tribe by the lake at the centre of the Isle of Dread. We never really uncovered his origins. He was uncouth and smelly and struggled to cope with sheer press of humanity in a city like Parma. In the end the urban environment became too much for him and he returned to the wilderness.

Gwydion (Sean)

The last original member of the party who first met in Parma, Gwydion, was a Human fighter/monk, who became a ferociously fast fighter. He was to die in a foolish attempt to save Haladi's life in the altar chamber of the The Porphyry House in Scuttle Cove.

Brian (Sean)

We met Brian, like so many of our comrades, in one of the dockside taverns in Parma on our return from Scuttle Cove. He was a Human monk and he quickly fell under the influence of Haladi. However, after participating in the murder of Elvis, Brian suffered a crisis of conscience and tried to leave the city in order to try and redeem himself on pilgrimage. Unfortunately the Thieves Guild, who were trying to extort money from Brian, Haladi and Raven for the murder, discovered his plan and killed him as he fled.

Hendell (Sean)

Hendell Three-Toes was a Dwarven fighter recruited by Haladi into the party after Brian was killed. He was with us only a matter of days before being killed with Haladi by the City Guard after the pair of them murdered two members of the City Guard in an effort to steal a cart.

Sue (Sean)

The bizarrely named Sue, actually a male Dwarven figher (probably some obscure Dwarven joke!), was recruited to the group after the death of Haladi and Hendell. He has a love of fighting and a love of gold that enabled him to fit straight into the group! At the time of writing he is still fighting strong.
